Welcome to the Kent State Alumni Awards!
Kent State University recognizes and honors Golden Flashes who, through leadership, character and hard work, have made exceptional contributions in their chosen profession, in their communities and at Kent State. Sponsored by the Kent State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are highly prestigious honors presented each year to outstanding alumni, alumni staff, current students or friends of the university.
Please read through each of the award categories. On your nomination, please provide as much information as possible on why the nominee should receive that specific award. Both self-nominations and nominations from the Kent State community are accepted. Nominations may also be anonymous.
The deadline for nominations is May 17. The Kent State Alumni Association and its committee of judges will review all nominations. Nominees who pass the review stage will then be asked to fill out an application with additional information on their accomplishments, accolades and more. All nominees will be given a decision on their nomination by the end of June, and applications will be due on July 26.
